Liberty Hill Friends: These are some of the things I can do as far as Valentines day goes. It’s not limited to those if you have an idea let me hear it and I can do it. I can also do a heart cake. Everyone enjoy their day and remember I need orders in by the 9th.
Happy new year….a week late. 😦 Let me start by saying I love December but I am so happy it is over. With Three Birthdays, and Anniversary and Christmas we are all just done in my house. I feel like once January starts we all take a month off to recover. I realize it has been awhile sense my last post so I figured I would fill everyone in on our December.
So to start off our December we made our yearly sugar cookies. The girls love making these and just cant get enough…my dad can’t either 🙂 Everyone has fun, there is always a huge mess but there are memories made.
Once we were done with cookies that afternoon my oldest was in a parade so it was time to get dressed and fix our outfit for soccer so that we could watch the parade. Our town puts on a wonderful parade that they just started 2 years ago and it was great. I swear almost all of the school aged kids are in it for one thing or another.
The next week end was my youngest’s birthday and she wanted a Maleficent cake…so I worked my best on a thorn wall and got sleeping beauty and Maleficent on her cake…..it was a hit and they loved eating the chocolate wall.
Then we were headed to Oklahoma to visit grandparents and fish at the pond. Our Anniverssary passed while we were there but we decided to celebrate after we got home 🙂
We then headed back home to Texas and I did my last minute finishes on my wood burning projects that needed to be done by Christmas, and BOOM Christmas day was here and we had way to many gifts like usual 🙂
When all of these things were done I was exhausted hence just getting back to my blog more than a week after January started. But in order to not just glaze over our Anniversary we went out New Years eve and had an amazing dinner in Austin and went to see a movie…..yep that’s right we brought in the new year watching a movie at an actual theater. I can’t tell you when the last time just my husband and I went to a movie but we did it new years eve and we loved it. So Goodbye to 2014 and welcome 2015…I know i’m late but i was sleeping!
Good morning Liberty hill friends,
I know most of the time I am on here telling you how to do something great…this time not so much. It is Halloween time again and I know a lot of the teachers like to do small things with their classes on that day. I am making a ghost cupcake cake and a pumpkin cupcake cake and can also make a few other things as well. If anyone want’s to take a treat for their class I can make them. It’s 10 dollars per cake/ cupcake cakes and all I need to know is how many students are in the class and what you want me to make. Also I do not use boxed cake or icing everything is homemade. I can also do other things just ask or tell me what you are thinking and we can come up with something. Remember to ask your teachers if they can have treats that day. I also do Birthday cakes, cupcake cakes and individual cupcake orders. As always enjoy 🙂
If you want to order something I need your orders by Monday October 27th. You can respond on Facebook or email be at firstname.lastname@example.org
For awhile now I have made my girls birthday cakes. I think there have only been three I have not made. It is special to me like a little extra gift from me to them to show them I care. It takes time and effort but they are worth it and I love seeing their face when I show them the done project. Sometimes it is cheaper to make them myself and sometimes it isn’t but it makes them happy. You also have to consider that the cakes you make at home you know everything that you put into them 🙂 So here are a few of the cakes the girls have had. I hope this inspires some of you to go all out. As always enjoy.
